Philip Ortelli is an artist working with video and sculpture, oscillating between concept and intuition. His recent works reflect queerness and its complicated history of representation, and how the internet changes historiographical mechanisms for social minorities. He co-founded the Schwobhaus in Bern, an autonomous and non-hierarchical artist house hosting transdisciplinary cultural events. Philip Ortelli is living and working between Zurich and Paris.
